The Number ONE .....

     
     The number one represents the sun, it is all about the self, the ego, me, I, and my. It is the number of independence. The number we attribute to the leader, whether it’s at the front of the line or directing the traffic. It is the beginning of something new, done by one. The number one leads, it is first place, it is masculine.

     Words that express the one are; active, dominant, independence, original, inventive, leader, creator, authority figure, pioneer, initiates, creates, strong, courageous, powerful, dynamic, decisive, unbending, dominant, unique, original, fresh starts, new beginnings,  assertive, unemotional, aggressive, overbearing, self-indulgent, selfish, self-obsessed.

     When we look at the number one it is about leadership, positive steps of growth, and new beginnings for the future. 

     If we are in a one year, month or day, the effect is much the same.  In a one year we don’t have a lot of warm fuzzy feelings, we are at this time free to assume a new role, be it in a new job, take on new projects of any kind, but working towards the beginning of a new nine year cycle. 

     A one month gives us the opportunity to start again. It's a new year. A new beginning. The personal year will get us started in January, yes, but we are in a period of finishing up old stuff until the one personal month for that year takes off. 

     If  you are in a 5 personal year then May becomes your 1 personal month.  It is then that things will really take off for you.

The Number Two .....

     Two represents the moon, the emotional side, the female side the women in our lives, whether it is our mate, friend or relative. 

     Two is feminine, it is the partner, the peacemaker, the arbitrator. This is the sensitive side, the part of us that is non-assertive. Two is about relationships, being adaptable and, thinking of others first.  

     It is important to be more adaptable and considerate in the two, although this is a time of sensitivity when we must be cooperative, diplomatic, kind, loving, peacemaking, submissive, and tactful, as well as tolerant.

     When we are in a two year, month or day it is about our partnerships, females in our lives and our need to be sensitive to all around us - but not necessarily the door mat to the world either.

     It is important that we help those around us and be available to assist when necessary, to put a cap on the high strung issues of the world and deal with the gentle side. 

     We know that this being about partnerships and relationships tells us that this is an excellent time to start a relationship, personal or working.  It is necessary to keep our heads about us so that we don’t allow ourselves to become insensitive to the things that happen.  If we allow the role of arbitrator and peacemaker to be sabotaged our sensitive side takes hold and we feel ourselves getting out of sorts. 

     The two is our kinder gentler side and caring for those around us can give joy and pleasure.

     Two can cause us conflictive and opposition, after all we can’t fight with just ourselves now, can we?. There can be a tendency to be deceitful and allow the emotional side to vacillate and become volatile. Two deals with opposites and opposing forces which can create in us a very competitive side. 

     When we are in our two we are dependent. The two seeks company with someone and doesn’t like to be by itself. Two is the partner, helper and mate, the one who stands behind and pushing another forward.

     When we think of the number two it is about woman, female, mother, relationships, assistant, followers, diplomatic, cooperative, considerate, intuitive, gentle, peacemaking, duality, deceit, indecisive, bending, emotional.  This period is for others, being helpful, and supportive. But also be aware that others may be somewhat deceitful towards us.

     Always remember all numbers have both a positive and negative sides.  So it is true that relationships which are important to us in the two year may also end as well as start. Keep your sensitive side in check so that you don’t prematurely create your own undoing.

The Number Three .....

     This is the number about communications, creativity and scattered energies. The three just loves to chat and unfortunately, sometimes with out rhyme nor reason, but we do enjoy ourselves and what we are doing. 

     During the three year the love of socializing and "get togetherness" seems to blossom. We love to create and making things as attractive as possible. Using new ideas and thoughts we explore to the maximum.  

     This is a time when any type of communications, written or verbal, is very much up front. The trap is allowing yourself to get involved with gossip - if it takes place around you I advise you to move away. If you are a party to it, it  will most likely be you who end up with egg on your face.

     This is the time of creation - your artwork may be a garden, a painting or just how you arrange things in your home. The imaginative side of your nature is in full bloom, and this will be important to you. The three is about Jupiter as well and this leads to expansion in design, business or ideas.  And also, if not careful, your weight.

     How we feel about ourselves can be an issue at this time, either too much attention to who we think we are, like being overly full of ourselves, or feeling negative about our looks and actions. The nice part is that the three can help us expand our self image in a productive way, not the narcissism that creates problems.

     As with all numbers, the positive and the negative always apply.  If we become too involved with the self to the determent of others we loose the beauty that the three has to offer us.  

     There are all types of lessons we learn with the three, how to express our feelings and issues in a more positive way, because if we allow it to slide to the negative side, it might come across as caustic, and you are more than likely to hurt the very person or people you are trying to impress. Beauty on the outside is wonderful to look at, but the beauty from within is certainly a gift from God. 

     In a three year we find there is a tendency for issues with allergies, sore throats, and congestion. Our weak link if you will. Know that when you find yourself getting a sore throat, think about the things that you wanted to say or should have had the courage to say, but you didn’t.

     Those who have a three destiny will find that they have a knack for speaking well with groups and do well at getting their point across. Threes usually make great sales people as well. 

     It is important to remember when you find too much taking place in your life at any one time it is necessary to regroup and put some things off to the side. Look at what are the important issues for you and allow yourself to take care of the three most important issues first -  then you can add some of the unfinished business to the list.

The Number Four .....

     Four is the base and the foundation for us all.  Think in terms of 4-square, a solid and a good base to build on. The four is the number of security, order and organization. It deals with all aspects of discipline, construction, restriction, confinement and stability.  It is also about loyalty and frugality.

     When the four is around us we are extremely aware of the value of money.  This is our practical time.  Usually with the four comes a lack of financial support, and there is no excess at this time, and that may will keep you on your toes. It doesn’t matter if  you have six figures in your checking account, when the four is around there is always a need. Sometimes it can make you feel you feel  poor or destitute - even when you know you've got money in your accounts.  

     The four is about being on top of things so that you can look at things and see them without being distracted by the bells and whistles. It is about basics -sort of the "less is more" theory.  When we are dealing with four it is a time when we are aware of the practical side of things. It is a time to be both conservative and practical.  This is the time that we find routine comforting and helpful.

     Of course as with all numbers when dealing with the four there is also the negative side that needs to be addressed.  Four can cause a lot of anger, and many times it is suppressed anger. Your body becomes tense and the area at the base of the back of the neck can feel the stress. I call this pain the turtle syndrome, since we draw up into our shoulders and this causes stress and uncomfortable feelings in the base of the neck and throughout the shoulders.

The Number Five .....

     Five is the pivotal point in our list of numbers and is a calling for personal freedom and change. Changes go from good to bad, bad to good. 

     It is a time of feeling young and exuberant and about spending time with people younger then we are or who act younger then we do. When we are in a five year, month or day, there is that glow about us. 

     The five year is about change - constant change. There is a need to be in a hurry to get things done...always in a hurry...but not necessarily for any special reason. We drive faster when in a five and all things tend to be a bit on the risky side.  You will also find that things are done for the quick fix, after all the United States is a five country, so this should give us a good example. 

     While in a five year you may find that your energy level is over the top and you feel as if your insides are vibrating. You are feeling especially sensual and you may tend to over indulge in things like food, drinking, sex, spending money, etc.

     Your normal tendency to be curious and adventurous can, in a five year, be over done, but it is a wonderful time to explore and check things out, to be  curious and nosey. You'd make a good private detectives at this time. 

     In a five year things tend to move fast - but they are usually temporary.  This is not a time for big investments. There is a tendency to be rather unconventional at this time as well. There is a great love of freedom and change is made simply to make change. The five is a risk taker, they test things to the max, but there is a magnetism about them that is very electric.

     Five is about the material side of things - the taste, touch and feel.  It is about relationships, mostly of a sensual nature and you'll enjoy the excitement this can bring. But be warned, this is a time when nature is in tune and an  accidentally pregnancy is very much in the cards.

     The five year is also a time when we reorganize are thoughts - who we are or want to be, and we make those necessary change to create a new life in some manner.  Create is the key word in much of what we do within the five. 

     During the five year we are prone to be around or to have accidents. But this is not because of something we did, but rather we tend to become part of other people's accidents, or mistakes if you will.  You may need to slow down and take the time to smell the roses, so that you are around to watch your changes taking place.

The Number Six .....

    There is much to be said about this number, it is about responsibility, perfection, meddling, overseeing, all aspects of family life, be it our personal family, family of friends or our work families.  It is about looking for the perfect relationships and eliminating the relationships that no longer suit us.

     This is the time when we find that someone close to us may in fact be more then just a friend, but we haven’t been aware of it. This is the time when we like to nest, have personal relationships or close bonds with those we are comfortable with.

     The key issues of the Six are home, family, relationships and alternative health issues.  It is a time when we look to our responsibilities of family and friends and try to fix it.  We want everyone we care about to have things working for them in a positive way, and we tend to expect too much from them and for them.  

     We find there is a tendency to give too much during this time and we are disappointed when those we care about don’t seem to appreciate all that we have done for them.  We need to ask ourselves, did they ask for this, or is this something we needed to do for them.  The need to remember that the expectations from others may out weigh the deed.

     The six is a number of responsibility, comfort, kindness, understanding and mostly protection. This is the number of our nest, the place we feel secure the place we want to go to be safe and protected.  This is the number of the counselor, those that are capable of  helping us to take the next steps in our area of life.

     The six can also be a hard task master for those who withhold thanks and appreciation for what they have been given or for what has been done for them. There is a potential for being jealous and very strong headed when it comes to family issues.  The love of family and friends like all things is within a hairs breath of anger and resentment at times, so we must remember to allow things to be as perfect as they can be, not as perfect as we think they should be.

The Number Seven .....

     This is a very spiritual number, it is the teacher the student, the law.  A seven year brings a new dimension to how we feel about things.

     We deal with issues of fear, and yet we feel aloof from what is taking place. It creates in a us a feeling of introspection, we become very private, and find being taken out of our thoughts as uncomfortable. 

     In a seven year the inner self, the intuitive side shines. This is a time when the inner self just seems to know what is taking place.  And yet we have to be careful, as this is also a time of allusion and delusions. 

     We need to keep a balance in our lives. Seven is a time for being inquisitive, tranquil and reserve. It is a mystical time when our intuition just seems to know the answers. As the moon moves the tides, so too does it move the inner being. 

     It is Neptune that takes over the emotional self. We find a great need to be by and or around water. It is so therapeutic for us - we feel relaxed and able to meditate on the issues and come to very good conclusions. It gives us the opportunity to connect with issues that have been painful to us and put some of the past to rest. 

     This is also a time of secrets, not just ours but those of others.  We feel unsure of what we are told and feel naked to the world on other issues where our emotions are concerned.

     This is a time when, if we listen to the intuitive side, we can achieve great strides in our emotional growth. We are guided towards meditation and prayer - something that we may not have done for many years. This is the time when we can feel the God force, and this can be a very humbling experience.

     To me, the key word in a seven year is patience, because with out it we set ourselves up for much turmoil. 

     In a seven year, the negative or flipside can be, fear, sorrow, and uncertainty, along with feelings of loneliness and anxiety. These are things that make us question our values. But in the end we learn that all is well with the world, and we can have a more powerful spiritual foundation and respect for the higher beings.

     It is difficult to stay on course during a seven year, as impatience can create emotional issues or issues where our impatience causes accidents - usually falling or tripping because we are so impatient. We find we change our minds many times, and it isn’t until the seven year has ended that we know what the correct answer is to some of our questions.  

The Number Eight .....

     Your eight personal year is about finances - yours and the governments. It is the time when you want to be in control and you will want to "fix" things - fix the issues of your work, city or government.  

     This is a time when you want to use the powers you have to make things better. You want to take care of social issues and to acquire more for the future. It is a time when you want to be king of the hill!  This is a time of business and power and your need to be the executive or director in charge of the business or to hold a job with prestige. 

     This is a time when power and money are what makes the world go round. You will find that many times money and recognition come to you during an eight year, but the desire for more is certainly close behind.  All aspects of the eight are about the material side of life. This is a time when things will cost more than anticipated, but you will also receive value for what you purchase. 

     The eight is a power number and money and success are the keys to it all. And while the material life and comforts are top of the list, you need to learn to save some of this for the coming year or cycle. The aspects of the eight are about social and business connections, part of the movers and shakers of the world.  Even if we live in a small town we want the same advantages. 

     People who have many eights to work with in their numbers will find it difficult to be workers -  they tend to be the leaders and work very hard. They are always trying to find opportunities for more in their lives. Those with few or no eights may fall to the wayside and become frustrated because they are not achieving their goals.

     The eight makes great organizers and they can be tireless at their chosen fields. They like to know people in the know, how they work, and how they achieve. This is a number that needs to be very much aware of how to manage and work with money. The need to be organized and manage things is important to them and is how they learn.   

The Number Nine .....

     Nine is the number of the universe. It is the conclusion of all the numbers that have gone before and gives us the opportunity to readdress or revisit issues from the past. 

     Nine is powerful and often very dramatic. It is the number of actors, writers, and the creative arts of all types. It gives us the opportunity to look at our lives and at issues we have been addressing and to make the changes that are required.  It is also the number of the healer and the traveler.

     We find that the Nine is a number that works well with all others and is an excellent time for learning on any level. You will find that the Nine can make you respond to things in a very overly dramatic fashion.  It has a charismatic way about it, hence the actor, art aspect runs high.  It is easy to be perceived as being obnoxious.  Nines can be very charismatic or so far over the drama line that we wonder who they are. 

      In your Nine year you will feel the need to be needed as well as the need to give.  The Nine is the number that cares deeply for the world at large. The Nine’s perfect role is that of the humanitarian, the keeper of those who have little, (think Mother Theresa).  It is a time to do things for others - usually for strangers and those unable to help themselves

     Most importantly the Nine is about change. It is a time for ending old issues of a personal nature and about letting go of those things that have been holding you back emotionally, physically, and financially. This is the time we learn more about ourselves and a time for us to fine tune what we’ve accomplished.

     Your feelings go so deep this year that at times you will feel very much alone. You will often find yourself hiding behind the masks of comedy and tragedy. Your inner need to hide will be expressed outwardly by your caring for others.
